Kotb Named to National Academy of Science Committee

"Malak Kotb, PhD, chair of molecular genetics, biochemistry and microbiology, has been selected to serve on a 10-member National Academy of Sciences committee to evaluate animal models for assessing countermeasures to bioterrorism agents. The committee will advise the U.S. Department of Defense on the best scientific and technical approaches to improve preparedness in the face of pandemics and major biological threats."
